🍁 Fall Festival Face Painting —

My Favorite Supplies

+ Tips for Beginners🍁

πŸ‚ Celebrating Creativity at Our School

Fall Festival 1/07/2025

This year’s Fall Festival was full of color, laughter, and

SO many excited little faces — literally! I had the

pleasure of running the Face Painting Station, and

let me tell you… my line stayed full the entire time.

From superheroes to glitter butterflies to pumpkins and fall leaves,

the kids were READY for transformation.

As an art teacher, moments like this remind me how

powerful creativity is — not just in the classroom,

but in our school community.

🎨 My Face Painting Setup

I bought all my face painting supplies from Amazon, and everything worked beautifully.

I wanted paints that were:

  • Safe for children

  • Bright and vibrant

  • Easy to blend

  • Easy to wipe off

  • Quick drying

And something that wouldn’t break the bank — because your girl paints a LOT of little faces!

✨ Tips for Face Painting at School Events

Want to try face painting at your next school event? Here are my must-dos:

✔️ 1. Test the paint on your skin first

Make sure the paints feel comfortable and don’t irritate the kids.

✔️ 2. Bring baby wipes

Trust me — lifesaver.

✔️ 3. Use clipboards or small laminated design cards

Kids love picking their face art from a small “menu.”

✔️ 4. Keep everything organized in a small bin

I used a caddy with compartments so I could move fast.

✔️ 5. Use a shade umbrella or indoor table

Sun + sweat = face paint meltdown.

πŸ’› Why I Love Face Painting

Face painting brings the type of joy that reminds me why I love being an art teacher. It’s instant creativity — bright colors, big smiles, and a chance for kids to feel magical.

And honestly? It’s therapeutic for ME too.

Seeing their reactions was priceless and made the Fall Festival extra special.
